Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally Read-Along

Hey guys! I have an exciting post today, I'm participating in my first official read-along with my lovely blogger friend Jude from Inbetween Writing and Reading featuring Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally! We're hoping some of you would like to join us in reading this book and participating in weekly discussions over the month of March! We're planning to have a ton of fun and hoping this will be a great learning experience for future read-along's we want to have! Below I've posted the cover, links, and blurb for all of you if you're interested!

"Whoever said football and girls don't mix hasn't read Catching Jordan. I couldn't put it down " -- Simone Elkeles, New York Times bestselling author of the Perfect Chemistry series
ONE OF THE BOYS
What girl doesn't want to be surrounded by gorgeous jocks day in and day out? Jordan Woods isn't just surrounded by hot guys, though-she leads them as the captain and quarterback of her high school football team. They all see her as one of the guys and that's just fine. As long as she gets her athletic scholarship to a powerhouse university.
But everything she's ever worked for is threatened when Ty Green moves to her school. Not only is he an amazing QB, but he's also amazingly hot. And for the first time, Jordan's feeling vulnerable. Can she keep her head in the game while her heart's on the line?

It is currently on sale for about 7 dollars on both Amazon and Barnes & Noble in paperback. If you have an ereader it's 4.50 on both of those sites also! If you can't use either of those sites for whatever reason it's 8.99 in paperback on The Book Depository.

Below is the schedule Jude and I have figured out (mostly Jude because she's awesome).

Week 1 – March 1 – 9: Paperback pages 1 – 70
Week 2 – March 10 – 16: Paperback pages 71 – 140
Week 3 – March 14 – 23: Paperback pages 141 – 210
Week 4 – March 24 – 31: Paperback pages 211 - 281

At the end of each week we will be discussing what went on in the book and coming up with discussion questions if we find something particular we want to address as a group. These would be sent to you via email before the actual post if you decide to participate by blogging or you can always just join us in the comments! If you do decide you'd like to participate grab one of the blog buttons below my post or on Jude's so others who see it can join if they want to also and if you could leave some way to contact you (twitter, facebook, goodreads, email) that would be great too! As this is my first read-along if I have forgotten anything you'd like to know about and can't find here or over on Jude's post please don't hesitate to ask and I really hope some of you decide to join us!

  1. I wish I had found your blog sooner! I've owned Catching Jordan for awhile, but haven't felt motivated to read it. This would have been the push I needed! Oh well, maybe I'll still get to it soon, since I also have Stealing Parker.

    New follower, btw!

    1. Oh no D: So do I! I'd say you could try and catch up but I'm not sure how fast you read and 210 pages might be too much. Thanks for the follow!

    2. I could read that in one day, but I'm already behind on my review schedule. Gotta catch up before I start adding in more books!
