Teaser Tuesday (13)

Tuesday - Teaser Tuesday! Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Here are the rules; grab your current read, open to a random page, share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page, be careful not to include spoilers or give to much away (it might ruin the book for others), share the title and author of the book so other TT participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teasers!

Becoming a vampire guardian was Dawn Fairchild’s ticket out of the Scarlet House. Fresh off a successful mission, life in Angel Creek should have been great. But when her sort-of-maybe-boyfriend, Sebastian, disappears on a quest to help a beautiful vampire from his past, Dawn finds herself amidst a web of danger, lies, and deceit.
Joining forces with Razor, an enigmatic rebel lacking both a verbal and a physical filter, and her band of Misfits—Brooke, Sophie, Hunter, and Seth—Dawn is thrust into a race against the clock to solve the mystery surrounding brutal Born kidnappings and come to terms with the sudden discovery of her own unique powers. With time ticking away and Born vampires’ lives in jeopardy, it quickly becomes evident that someone—or something—desperately wants Dawn and is willing to shed any amount of blood to get her.
Dawn has only one chance to face her demons and overcome all obstacles standing in her way as she embarks on the biggest mission of her life—one that threatens a deadly outcome for all involved.
Hooray for my first Teaser Tuesday in over a month, oh how I've missed blogging!

He chuckled. "You're asking a lot of questions, Dagger Girl. Shouldn't you first buy me dinner before demanding my entire life story?"

I scoffed. He didn't strike me like a "dinner first" kind of guy in any scenario. "Why are you back? Why now?" I repeated my question.

This is when we're first introduced to Razor and let me tell you I can see why the ladies who have read this are swooning. I highly recommend you pick up this first book in this series, ReVamped by Ada Adams. It's definitely worth a read, I loved it!
