Nominated for the Liebster Blog Award. (:

Probably the best news I've gotten today was from the lovely Cassandra Giovanni! She decided to nominate me for the Liebster Blog award and I am forever grateful to her. Click her name and go check out her work and follow her blog. I'm super duper excited for her new book Walking in the Shadows to be published! Big thanks to you, gorgeous! (:

So the rules of the Liebster nomination are quite easy:

1. Thank and link back to the giver.
2. Answer the giver’s questions.
3. ‘Nominate’ five other blogs with fewer than 200 followers.
4. Ask five questions for one’s nominees to answer.
5. Post it all on one’s blog!
Here are the questions with my answers:

What is your all time favorite novel and why?
I hate this question, I really do. It's almost impossible to answer this every single time. I have a few favorites that are so hard to pick from! You all know I'm a die hard fan of Ellen Hopkins so really anything by her. All of her books have meaning and truth within the message they are meant to serve to the readers. I swear I read every single one of her books at a time in my life where something very similar was happening/happened in mine or someone I knew. If I had to absolutely choose one right now I think it would be her book Fallout. It shows the perspective of people whose lives were affected by a drug addict, my life has been affected by a drug addict so I can relate. I also really love her book Impulse, it's beautiful.

If you could meet one person dead or alive, who would it be? I don't even know if this counts because she's technically not dead but my sister when she was little. I would love to know what my best friend was like before life threw some crazy things at her.

What inspires you to blog? My love for books, I've always turned to books for an escape from the chaos of the world and my life. I literally zone out when I read and if I really get into the book I just block out everything around me. Reading is my go to when I want to ignore my problems or procrastinate some more. (:

If you could be anything in the world, what would it be? I want to either major in psychology and become some sort of therapist for younger kids/teens or I want to get a degree in some type of forensics and work in a crime lab.

Where is your dream place to live?
A little town in Wyoming called Gillette. I was born and raised there for about eight years. I love it there so much and can't wait to move back. After living in Arizona for the school year going back to Gillette is literally heaven for me. Right after I step off the plane I take a deep breath, the air there smells so clean and fresh. The people there are so much nicer and I just like it better in general.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE.. I nominate:
Pink Polka Dot Book Blog - I just recently started following Michelle but I love her blog. She has a few interesting features and some of the things she says make me laugh. Her personality definitely shines in her posts. I also noticed that we read a lot of the same books or want to so I can go to her reviews for an opinion. Go follow her! (:

Ink & Tea Reviews - This blog is just pretty okay. Jaclyn is very honest with her reviews and I like that in a reviewer. If you can't give a bad book a bad rating or speak your honest opinion I don't want to know what you think. Go follow her! (:

Bookworm In Love - Megan's blog is one of my favorites. I love how active she is in the book blogging community. She also has this thing for YA paranormal romance and it really is hard to find good YA paranormal romance books that aren't a load of crap so her blog is useful for that too. Go follow her! (:

A Bookish Co-Op - Okay, okay. I know that the rules say the blog isn't supposed to have over 200 followers. Let's all pretend they don't because I absolutely adore this blog and Jenny and Nick don't have THAT many over 200. It is so interesting to hear two different opinions of the same subject on one blog, especially when it's from a husband and wife. Both of their posts can be hilarious and I always find myself smiling while reading posts from them. Go follow them! (:

Highly Readoactive - Simply an enjoyable blog, I love the name. Go follow her! (:

My questions for you:

1. Who is your favorite author and why do you like them/their writing so much?
2. What is your favorite video game and why? If you don't like video games tell us why.
3. Name three of your favorite moments being a book blogger, why did you enjoy them so much?

4. What is your favorite book series, why?

5. What is your favorite band, favorite song by them?

Happy Reading and thank you again Cassandra!
